Many of the earlier ads started as pencil sketches.  Copies of the sketches were later colored by either water color brush and/or Prisma pens.  I gradually transitioned to a more digital approach as the technology became available.  In the last slide Indiana Flex, I used Photoshop to complete the composition pencil sketch from a scanned rendering.
